Walking slowly down the street was a single pikachu. The pikachu had a hat on its head. The hat was a little to big but it didn't care. The hat was all the little pokémon had left of its trainer. Slowly walking through the gate it made its way to the grave. It placed the flowers it had in its paws on the grave and then curled up where the lap would be.
On the gravestone was only a few sentences.
The greatest pokémon master of all time.

it's a little depressing
this is a little adjustment of the coma theory
my theory is that the lightning bolt killed him and the rest of the show happened in heaven
or it could be seen as, Ash wanted to protect Pikachu from team Rocket as they tried to steal it again but this time it didn't end so well for the hero
afterwards Pikachu lived with Ash's mother in Pallet town wearing Ash's favourite cap
I was thinking of starting a series with this as we watch Pikachu see everyone move on and cope with the loss but I'd like a "partner in crime" first so if you're intrested, note me
also a little (late) deviation for the 100+ watchers
